I’m a clinical psychologist trained in evidence-based approaches, including integrative Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. After over 20 years immersed in academic research, teaching, and training psychologists, I transitioned into clinical practice to work more directly and meaningfully with individuals seeking change in their lives. That shift reflects what I value most—partnering with people in real time as they build insight, skills, and momentum in their lives.
If you seek therapy with me, it will be active, collaborative, and grounded in proven strategies. We will work together to challenge unhelpful beliefs, build skills for managing intense emotions, improve communication, and make choices that align with the kind of person you want to be—not the version shaped by pressure or expectation, but the one defined by intention, resilience, and authenticity. Together, we will examine what is happening in your life and the thought patterns, habits, and reactions that may keep you caught in the same patterns—whether it’s anxiety, depression, anger, stress, relationship difficulties, or feeling disconnected from your own needs.
Outside the therapy room, I’m passionate about the outdoors and love exploring wild spaces and connecting to nature, including a recent passion for river rafting. Being outside continually informs me of my appreciation for resilience and the natural rhythms of personal growth. I also love music (evidenced by an ever-growing record collection), which offers connection to the world and is a wonderful lens through which I experience and understand the human emotional journey.
These passions shape the balanced, engaged presence I bring to my work, and my goal is always to help people reconnect with what matters most to them.
